Emilio Lehmberg, the unknown composer who succeeded creating music for the NO-DO

The street hides surprising stories. Forgotten names, characters that at the time were awarded with a plaque in a corner so that no one remembers them later. Hundreds of people pass by Composer Lehmberg Ruiz Street every day in the center of Malaga. It doesn’t even include the first name, just two last names and a profession: composer. If one asks passers-by, almost no one knows who that Lehmberg Ruiz was. Not even the students of the conservatory of the Andalusian city know him.
