The team is, to put it mildly, dysfunctional. The members’ ages range from 7 to 27, and other than their superpowers, they don’t really have anything in common. They argue and quarrel all the time, and Reginald is always there to mediate their disputes.

The squad is followed throughout the series as they cope with both personal problems and global challenges. They battle a bunch of robots who are attempting to wipe out the Earth in the first volume.
